About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology (GBCB) at Virginia Tech University, expected to graduate in 2027. I hold a Bachelor's in Biotechnology from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. The interdisciplinary nature of my current major has sparked my passion for computational analysis, enabling me to explore my creative potential. Ultimately,
I aim to contribute to the collective pursuit of cancer research.

Biomolecular Simulation Research

As part of my Ph.D. research, I am conducting computational experiments and biomolecular simulations.

Focus on Expertise

My main focus is to enhance my knowledge in computational biophysics.

Advancing Research Understanding

My goal is to improve my knowledge of MMGBSA and free energy calculations. These concepts are important for gaining a better understanding of research outcomes.

Multi-Epitope Vaccine Design

In 2020, I designed a multi-epitope vaccine against SARS-CoV2, which marked my entrance into the field of immunoinformatics.

Analyzing Gene Expression

During my undergraduate studies, I developed the skill of analyzing gene expression patterns to identify potential drug targets in various diseases, such as cancer and diabetes.

Bioinformatics Pipeline Design

While pursuing my undergraduate studies, I specialized in creating bioinformatics pipelines. I was able to combine a range of computational tools to predict effective drug candidates for drug design.
